PureShot support

Help for Process Zero capture, visible camera controls, advanced profiles, hardware capability fallbacks, and local media handling.

Device support

Baseline capture supports iPhone 15 and newer plus M-series iPad models. Apple Log, ProRes-oriented workflows, and external SSD indicators are available only where supported hardware and OS capabilities allow them.

Controls and profiles

• Use the visible resolution control for common Photo and Video format choices.
• Use Auto when the active camera limits available formats.
• Pinch on the viewfinder or use the compact lens chips for common 0.5x, 1x, and 2x zoom behavior.
• The Profiles panel exposes Photo, Video, Lens, and Capabilities details without crowding the main camera surface.
• If a feature is unavailable on a device, PureShot shows a clear fallback instead of silently hiding the limitation.

Privacy and storage

PureShot is designed as a local camera utility. Photos, videos, and capture metadata stay on the device unless you explicitly export or share media through iOS system flows.
